Many of the women who come to me have never been photographed like this and have no idea what they're walking into. Here, step by step, you'll learn how a whole portrait or artistic-nude session unfolds, so you know what to expect and can then simply relax and enjoy it.
1. Consultation and booking
Reach out via the contact form, by email or by phone. Together we go through the kind of session you want and what you expect from it, and we agree on a date. No deposit is required.
2. Getting ready before the shoot
Before the shoot we connect and go through everything together. Bring both light and dark clothing, and a few options. Depending on your hair and skin tone I'll advise what works best. We aim for a natural look, soft makeup and no artificial retouching. A professional makeup artist is available on request.
My favourites are soft, airy pieces: oversized shirts and sweaters, gentle translucent blouses or a big scarf, or light, flowing, fairy-like summer dresses. But feel free to bring several styles, from a cosy sweater to something softer and more intimate, and we'll choose together what suits you best.
And if you'd like something truly special, the art itself can become your “clothing”, for example a delicate body painting.
3. On the day
We shoot in my calm studio in Pezinok, about 19 km from Bratislava. We start with a short consultation so you can settle in. If it helps you feel safe, you're welcome to bring a friend or your partner.
4. During the session
I guide you through the whole session. I tell you exactly how to stand, where to look and what to do with your hands, so you don't need to know how to pose or be a model. We choose the light and the poses and shoot at a calm pace. A session runs from about an hour up to a half-day, depending on the scope and the number of final photos.
For artistic nudes you always set the boundaries and the pace, and we shoot in complete privacy. Nude work is always opt-in and you decide how much you show. I never push.
5. Selecting and editing
After the shoot I select and carefully edit the best frames, or you can make the selection yourself. Retouching is always gentle and natural, so you still look like you, just at your best. No artificial look.
6. Delivery of your photos
You receive a curated set of edited fine-art photos in a private online gallery roughly two weeks after the shoot. You preview them in the gallery first. If you honestly don't find photos you love, you get your money back. You receive the final, high-resolution, watermark-free images once you're happy. The photos are yours and nothing is published or shown to anyone without your explicit consent; we can sign an NDA on request.
